Bike the Drive Proposals
Design proposal no. 1 “Enjoy the Journey”
Description: This design is all about good vibes, fresh air, and pedal-powered joy. Centered around a bright bike wheel wrapped in playful vines of Common Blue Violet (Illinois’ state flower), it’s a celebration of motion, nature, and all the little moments that make the ride worth it.
The bold red and electric violet colors give it energy and movement — like the hum of tires on pavement and the buzz of excitement at Bike the Drive. The phrase “Enjoy the Journey” curves around the wheel like a cheer from the sidelines, reminding us all that the ride is just as sweet as the view.
It’s a visual high-five to everyone out there who rides with heart, style, and maybe a flower in their helmet.
Design proposal no. 2 “Rides Are Better Together”
Description: This one’s for the crew, the community, the joyful pack that makes every pedal stroke feel lighter. The design rolls through a dreamy Chicago landscape, where cyclists cruise beneath a whimsical canopy of trees and clouds, all framed by the city’s iconic skyline.
Dotted with Illinois’ state flower (the Common Blue Violet), the scene captures the magic of Bike the Drive — where strangers become friends and the ride becomes a shared story. The bold type reminds us what we already know in our hearts: it’s not just about the ride, it’s about who you’re riding with.
Because whether you’re a weekend warrior, a first-timer, or a daily commuter — it’s always better when we ride together.
